Terms and Conditions

It is the client's responsibility to read these Terms and Conditions and Hot Locks's Privacy Policy before their appointment. 

Please call the Hot Locks salon if you need any assistance. 


  • Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted within the Hot Locks salon for health, safety and insurance reasons. This includes both treatment rooms and waiting areas. 

  • This is unless the young person is receiving a treatment, in which case they must be accompanied by an adult at all time. Please inform Hot Locks at the time of booking if the intended recipient is under the age of 18.

  • ​Please refrain from bringing any extra guests to your appointment.

  • Please do not attend your appointment with wet or damp hair.

  • Please arrive for your booking on time. Appointments include enough time for a consultation, preparation and treatment. Arriving late may mean we cannot provide the full appointment time, and reserve the right to refuse treatment if it is not deemed safe to do so within the available time. This includes pre-paid sessions or vouchers. 

  • Please notify Hot Locks as soon as possible if you change your mind about any of the treatments you are booked in for. Although we will try out best to accommodate, if you do not tell us until you arrive we may have to charge for the full time booked. 

  • Denise will always complete a full, in-depth consultation before your appointment however it is your responsibility to let us know of any changes to your health or medication. 

  • We advise that you do not have any heat treatments immediately prior to or after your appointment. This includes the use of a sauna, steam room, sunbed or sunbathing. We also do not advise swimming or exercising. 

  • Cancelling your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice will result in a 50% cancellation fee. This may be added to your next booking if necessary. 

  • Failure to attend your appointment without any notice will result in the full charge being due. This applies to all bookings, including pre-paid sessions and vouchers. 

  • A booking fee is necessary at the time of booking. This is non-refundable if you cancel the appointment with less than 24 hours' notice or do not attend. 

  • Hot Locks reserves the right to refuse future appointments.

  • Hot Locks' prices are subject to change without notice. 

  • Client's personal details are always kept securely and will not be given to any third party unless necessary by law. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.​
