I know that doing a training course doesn’t necessarily make you skilled and confident enough to work with clients, so everyone who trains with me is invited back for a Professional Development Day in the salon where they can:

• Get salon experience working on a model

• Carry out a client consultation

• Order hair 

• Arrange a fitting 

• Carry out a fitting and put their skills into practice 

• Get professional pictures for their portfolio

• Get feedback on their work

What else is included?

A full hair extension kit for the fitting method you have chosen is supplied as part of the course. You can opt to get a life-size mannequin head with thicker hair than the one supplied in the kit, at extra cost. 

You will need to bring hairdressing scissors with you and any electrical styling tools you’ll need (hairdryers, curling wands etc.)

 

 

Will I get support after my training?

Yes! I don’t believe in ‘hi and bye’ training courses, I want every student who comes through my doors to leave feeling confident in their skills and ready to start making clients look and feel amazing.

Once you’ve completed your course you can:

• Join my private Facebook group which is exclusive for students who’ve trained at the Hot Locks Training Academy.

• Have telephone, email, or text message support from me whenever you need it.
